Magnet, a kitchen retail brand, has announced the opening of its first franchise store scheduled for 20 June 2024 in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, UK.

This initiative represents an expansion of Magnet’s business model into franchising. The launch of the franchise allows local entrepreneurs to operate under the Magnet brand while adhering to its operational guidelines.

The move is part of Magnet’s broader strategy to increase its market presence throughout the UK by utilising local business acumen and insights.

The franchise will be managed by Ben Thornton and Kenny Devlin, who are also the proprietors of Hengate Homes.

Thornton and Devlin bring extensive experience from the kitchen industry to the new venture, planning to offer both product sales and comprehensive project management services.

Management and operations

The store will be managed by John May, a veteran in the kitchen industry with more than 25 years of experience.
