Norwegian retailer Felleskjøpet Rogaland Agder has signed an agreement with Pricer’s partner StrongPoint to provide electronic shelf labels (ESL) and cloud-based platform Pricer Plaza.
The new ESL and Pricer Plaza technology will be implemented across all the ‘BondeKompaniet’ stores operated by Felleskjøpet.
This is the first time StrongPoint is collaborating with Felleskjøpet.
Pricer Europe region head Mats Arnehall said: “We are delighted that Felleskjøpet has chosen our cutting-edge electronic shelf label solution with our cloud-based platform Pricer Plaza.
“This strategic decision ensures not only swift and secure integration of our solution but also empowers this retailer with optimal management capabilities. Our cloud-based platform facilitates real-time decision-making for the entire chain or individual stores.”
The Norwegian retailer sells a range of items, such as agricultural equipment, household hardware, gardening tools, and pet supplies.

By GlobalDataFelleskjøpet currently operates nearly 200 stores across Norway and Sweden. Last year, the retailer registered a total turnover of Nkr20.2bn ($1.97bn).
According to the retail technology company StrongPoint, its ESL solution has been designed to optimise both store operations and price management.
It also allows retailers to update all the prices from a computer, saving labour time. Use of ESL further minimises manual errors, simplifies promotions and boosts the speed of order picking.
BondeKompaniet regional manager Thomas Nilsson said: “This ESL solution will enable us to efficiently update prices, ensuring our customers receive accurate pricing at all times. This implementation will streamline our in-store operations, allowing us to utilise our time more efficiently.”
Besides, the cloud-based platform Pricer Plaza will serve as a complete scalable management solution for monitoring and integrating a digital in-store system.
The project to implement these two new systems is expected to commence by early next year and is set to complete in 2025.
