Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions, in collaboration with Partron ESL, has begun deployment of new electronic shelf labels (ESLs) in stores for US retailer Event Network. 

The initiative supports the retailer in enhancing profitability, reducing costs and streamlining inventory management.  

The deployment is complete in four stores with implementation planned in more locations up to spring 2025.

ESLs are gaining traction among retailers aiming to boost sales and profitability while also providing a consistent shopping experience across various platforms.  

The labels ensure price consistency between the shelf edge, online platforms, apps and at the register, tackling a significant retail challenge.  

Event Network’s adoption of Toshiba’s ESLs complements its existing suite of modular hardware, software and service solutions designed to optimise store operations and improve customer experiences.

The partnership began with Toshiba becoming the exclusive point-of-sale (POS) provider for Event Network.  

Throughout the POS rollout, Toshiba has collaborated with other partners to offer staging and installation services.   

Event Network also utilises Toshiba’s Proactive Service Availability (PAS) solution, which offers real-time visibility into store operations, enabling the prediction, diagnosis and remote resolution of system issues before they impact the business.
