American discount variety store chain Dollar Tree has revealed plans to recruit over 25,000 associates to better serve customers this holiday season.
The hiring will take place during the fifth annual Nationwide Hiring Event to be held from 19-23 October.
It will be for permanent full-time and part-time store openings for various roles including store managers, assistant store managers, cashiers, and stocking associates, as well as seasonal holiday.
Positions for the Dollar Tree distribution centres include management, and full-time and part-time order fillers, equipment operators, and warehouse associates.
New employees will work at Dollar Tree and Family Dollar stores, and in the company’s distribution centres in the US.
Dollar Tree chief human resource officer Betty Click said: “Dollar Tree and Family Dollar are excited to bring aboard motivated individuals as we provide our customers with great values this holiday season, in convenient, easy-to-shop locations.
