Food retailer Delhaize Group has partnered with Netherlands-based online retailer bol.com to enhance the shopping experience of customers.
As part of the deal, bol.com is opening pick-up points in Delhaize stores located in the Antwerp province.
Customers can get their orders from bol.com delivered to a Delhaize location of their choice.
Both the retail brands will test the service during this summer and then expand it to the rest of Flanders later.
According to Delhaize, the new service is convenient for customers who are willing to pick up their bol.com orders on the go.
Parent company Ahold Delhaize said: “The collaboration between Delhaize and bol.com is the latest example of how Ahold Delhaize’s local brands in Belgium are increasing efforts to further improve their omnichannel offer and accelerate growth.”
