Pharmacy store chain China Jo-Jo Drugstores is initiating a new strategic transformation plan in an effort to strengthen its business.
The company expects to follow the plan for the execution and implementation of a well-defined market launch and growth strategy so as to explore potential markets, as well as benefit more customers through various initiatives across many business sectors.
China Jo-Jo Drugstores will enhance its offline retail pharmacies as well as the online pharmacy’s official platform through various planned upgrades.
The company will also utilise its Xiaojiujianguan customer service centre to offer medical health consultation and intervention, and share drug information.
Jo-Jo Drugstores chief operating officer Wei Hu said: “At the same time, we plan to move our diagnosis system closer to the American-style family doctor’s diagnosis and treatment model and build a graded diagnosis and treatment and a two-way referral system through the layout of the smart drugstore, so that the people can obtain professional medical and health services more conveniently and efficiently.
“As China Jo-Jo adapts to a challenging retail environment and changing regulatory environment, it is crucial that we develop a long-term thematic strategy to ensure that we are well equipped to provide our customers with an experience that leverages our extensive operational experience and integrates the new technologies that are transforming the retail pharmaceutical landscape.”
Other initiatives include integrating its online pharmacy with smart guidance and medication consultation, and conducting grassroots promotions and two-way referrals through offline retail pharmacies.
