UK-based online car retailer Cazoo has expanded its geographical presence in Europe by launching its service in Italy.
Founded in 2018, the retailer claims to have become one of the continent’s fastest-growing businesses, selling more than 75,000 cars in less than three years.
Italian customers can purchase cars entirely online from Cazoo’s website and have them delivered to their homes within days.
All cars sold by the company in Italy will come with a full seven-day money-back guarantee and 12-month warranty.
Cazoo founder and CEO Alex Chesterman said: “We are very excited to now be live in Italy.
“We have reimagined car buying to make it simple and convenient whilst giving consumers total peace of mind when buying their next car.

“We have a great team in Italy, following the acquisition of brumbrum earlier this year, which has now been fully integrated into Cazoo, and we look forward to delivering the best used car buying experience to consumers across the Italian market.”
The expansion comes after Cazoo acquired Italian online car retailer brumbrum for €80m ($84.5m) in January this year.
The retailer said that it had integrated brumbrum fully into the Cazoo proposition throughout Italy.
Based in Milan, brumbrum offers hundreds of vehicles for sale, finance or subscription for delivery across the country.
The company was founded in 2016 and operates a 40,000ft² vehicle preparation site in Reggio Emilia, which can refurbish more than 15,000 cars a year.
Cazoo previously launched its services in Germany, France and Spain in the last six months.
The London-based company is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange.
