By GlobalDataIn late 2017, BGC piloted curbside pickup service at its Fresh by Brookshire’s store in Tyler, Texas, and then expanded the service to 12 stores of Super 1 Foods last year. It has also introduced the service to across 60 Brookshire’s Food Stores since December.
Brookshire Grocery chief strategy officer John D’Anna said: “At BGC, we are focused on creating and delivering exceptional experiences and value for our customers.
“This commitment is reflected in the newly enhanced online and in-store shopping experiences we’re proud to offer customers across all of our banners, and we are excited to have introduced curbside in the majority of our locations.”
Customers need to place orders, pay and schedule pick-up times at select stores using its banner-specific websites and mobile apps.
Personal shoppers across the retailer’s stores will fill customers’ orders and then text or call customers to notify them when their order is ready for pickup.
Based in Texas, Brookshire Grocery currently operates more than 180 store locations in three US states.
