American warehouse club chain BJ’s Wholesale Club has partnered with Mastercard to offer Masterpass payment services to its customers.
Customers of the warehouse chain can now use Masterpass digital payment service to pay while shopping online at bjs.com.
Masterpass digital payment service, through its contactless technology, allows customers to make secure digital payments across devices and channels, including online, in-store and in-app.
Mastercard US merchants and acceptance executive vice-president Linda Kirkpatrick said: “We are thrilled to partner with BJ’s Wholesale Club to enhance their one-stop shopping experience with our latest and safest digital technology.
“With Masterpass as a payment option, BJ’s members are just a click away from a seamless and secure checkout.”
The digital platform stores customer data, including card details, payment preference and shipping information, and allows them to pay directly for items in their virtual cart.
