US-based domestic retailer Bed Bath and Beyond has collaborated with technology firm DoorDash to continue boosting its same-day delivery services.
The partnership will enable the retailer to expand the service to an additional 3,000 zip codes across the US, as well as around 99% of Bed Bath and Beyond and BuyBuy Baby store locations.
Customers can shop from bedbathandbeyond.com and buybuybaby.com and choose the Same Day Delivery option at checkout. Orders can also be placed just before closing hours.
DoorDash will use its white-label fulfilment platform, DoorDash Drive, to power its direct delivery services.
The announcement comes a month after the two companies partnered to introduce same-day services in Canada.
Bed Bath and Beyond executive vice-president and chief digital officer Rafeh Masood said: “We are thrilled to continue strengthening our Same Day Delivery services through this partnership with DoorDash.

Bed Bath and Beyond sells a wide range of products in the Home, Baby, Beauty and Wellness segments.
Last month, the company reported that its net sales fell by around 16% to $2.62bn in the fourth quarter.
This decline was attributed to the impacts of the company’s non-core banner divestments and store closures, with 118 Bed Bath and Beyond stores having been closed during the quarter.
