Amazon is gearing up for its Prime Big Deal Days event, allowing Prime members to kickstart their holiday shopping ahead of the season.

The event is scheduled to commence on 10 October at 3AM EDT and run through 11 October. During this period, Prime members can access exclusive deals from a variety of independent sellers and renowned brands.

Amazon aims to enhance the shopping experience for Prime members by offering personalised recommendations based on their past purchases, browsing history and saved items.

This feature is designed to help members find deals that align with their interests and preferences.

Diverse range of deals and products

Throughout Prime Big Deal Days, Amazon will continuously unveil new deals, some as frequently as every five minutes, spanning a wide selection of products.

These deals will encompass categories such as fashion, home and toys, featuring sought-after items for the holiday season. Independent sellers such as Ruggable x Jonathan Adler, Urban Decay and PicassoTiles will also participate in offering discounts.

Prime vice-president Jamil Ghani emphasised the value of Prime membership, mentioning that members can not only enjoy the Prime Big Deal Days but also access other perks such as shopping favourite brands beyond Amazon.com with Buy with Prime and accessing doorbuster deals with Invite-only deals.

Prime members can begin their holiday shopping now, taking advantage of exclusive discounts and exploring Amazon’s Toys We Love list, featuring more than 200 items from top brands such as Lego, Mattel and Disney.

Amazon also introduced the Small Business badge and filter, facilitating the discovery of products from small business brands and artisans.

Holiday shopping made easy

Amazon’s newly launched Holiday Shop offers customers low prices on essentials and unique gifts, catering to various needs such as hosting with friends, home décor and matching apparel.

The shop features a wide range of items, including customer favourites and a comprehensive Holiday Toy List.

US-based Prime members can utilise the new shopping benefit, Buy with Prime, to access exclusive offers from select brands’ websites beyond Amazon.com.

Savings of up to 40% are available directly from brands such as Wyze, KNOW Beauty and Targus.

From 2-12 October, eligible Prime members with a Prime Visa, Prime Store Card, or Amazon Prime Secured Card can earn an additional 5% back (for a total of 10%) on select Amazon devices, including Echo, Ring and Fire TV devices.

Amazon music unlimited offer

Prime members who haven’t tried Amazon Music Unlimited can obtain the new Echo Pop for $4.99 with the purchase of one month of Amazon Music Unlimited.

Amazon is offering substantial discounts on various Amazon devices, including up to 65% off a three-pack of eero Pro Mesh WiFi Systems, up to 45% off select Echo bundles, up to 40% off select Fire TV devices and up to 30% off select Kindle e-reader bundles.

Influencers Olivia Culpo and Claudia and Margo Oshry of “Girl with No Job” and The Toast podcast will share their top product picks in the lead-up to Prime Big Deal Days.

Additionally, US customers can find influencer picks on Inspire, a personalised feed of shoppable videos and photos within the Amazon Shopping app, located in the app’s bottom navigation bar.
