The facility is located at 1025 Elm Street in Bridgewater and covers an area of around 155,000ft².
Amazon’s sub same-day buildings serve as mini-fulfilment centres and are designed to offer same-day deliveries of hundreds of thousands of items.
Amazon Prime members in the Greater Boston area can order from up to three million items that are marked ‘Today by’ and ‘Overnight by’, receiving deliveries within three to five hours of ordering.
Product categories include baby, beauty and health, kitchen and dining, electronics and pet supplies.
Customers will also have the option to choose a suitable slot in which to receive their delivery.
