By GlobalDataWith this service, prime members of Amazon can buy Whole Foods Market groceries and have their orders picked up in half an hour without leaving their cars.
AmazonFresh and Amazon Restaurants Prime Now Worldwide vice-president Stephenie Landry said: “Pickup from Whole Foods Market is a perfect option for customers who want to grab healthy and organic groceries at their convenience, all without leaving their car.
“A customer can order at 5:00 pm, pick up at 5:30 pm, and we’ll have their groceries loaded into their car just minutes after arrival.
“For an even faster experience, customers can tell us they are on their way using the Prime Now app and groceries will be ready as they arrive.”
To have the grocery pickup, the prime members will place the order through the Prime Now app and select the option at checkout.
Customers can opt for free pickup in an hour on orders of $35, or in 30 minutes for $4.99.
All they have to do is park their cars in a reserved pickup spot upon arriving at the Whole Foods Market store and groceries will be placed into their car within minutes by a Prime Now shopper.
If the customers are on the way to the store, groceries will be ready as they arrive.
