US-based company Walmart’s IT hiring declined 5.4% in June 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 27.9% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 2.57% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2022, and recorded a 0.75% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Walmart IT hiring in June 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Walmart, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 78.78% in June 2022, and a 17.23% drop over May 2022, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 14.79% in June 2022, and registered growth of 9.52%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 3.86% in June 2022, a 42.86% drop from May 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Walmart IT hiring activity in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 62.7%, down by 13.33% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 22.19% share, a decline of 32.35% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 15.11% share, up 11.9% over May 2022.
