Top five retail companies in India’s IT recruitment activity in October 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 54.45% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s retail industry during October 2022 over September 2022.
Amazon posted 124 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a drop of 57.53% over the previous month, followed by Target with 19 jobs and a 51.28% drop. NIKE with 10 IT jobs and Walmart with 8 jobs, recorded a 56.52% decline and a flat growth, respectively, while Woolworths Group recorded a decline of 11.11% with 8 job postings during October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 60.83%, down by 28.65% from September 2022. Entry Level positions with a 21.2% share, registered a decline of 72.29% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 17.97% share, down 58.95% over September 2022.
