Top five retail companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 68.52% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s retail industry during June 2022 over May 2022.
REWE Group posted 160 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Zalando with 48 jobs and a 42.17% drop. Hornbach Holding AGKGaA with 32 IT jobs and Schwarz Unternehmenskommunikation GmbHKG with 24 jobs, recorded an 8.57% decline and a 40% decrease, respectively, while Lotte recorded an increase of 125% with 9 job postings during June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 72.85%, up by 20.88% from May 2022. Entry Level positions with a 13.91% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 12.25% share, down 17.78% over May 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.99%, recording a month-on-month decline of 40%.
