Top five retail companies in Australia’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 3.68% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Australia’s retail industry during June 2022 over May 2022.
Woolworths Group posted 65 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a rise of 14.04% over the previous month, followed by Coles Group with 24 jobs and a 31.43% drop. Wesfarmers with 18 IT jobs and Amazon with 18 jobs, recorded a 28.57% growth and a 37.93% decrease, respectively, while Myer recorded an increase of 500% with 6 job postings during June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 70.78%, down by 0.91% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 16.88% share, registered an increase of 4% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.34% share, down 20.83% over May 2022.
