Poland’s retail industry registered an 11.7% rise in IT hiring activity in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 1.55% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.
Out of the retail industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 12.61% share in August 2021, recording an increase of 1.46% over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 96.83% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s retail industry in August 2021.

Top five retail companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in August 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 43.18% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s retail industry during August 2021 over July 2021.
LPP posted 22 IT jobs in August 2021 and registered a drop of 24.14% over the previous month, followed by Amazon with 18 jobs and a 38.46% growth. NIKE with 14 IT jobs and Inter IKEA Holding with 5 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 150% flat growth, respectively, while Affirm Holdings recorded a flat growth with 4 job postings during August 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 68.25%, up by 26.47% from July 2021. Mid Level positions with a 17.46% share, registered an increase of 266.67% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 14.29% share, down 18.18% over July 2021.
