US-based LTK, inventor of Creator Commerce, has announced the launch of new shopper alerts within its LTK shopping app.
The shopper alerts feature badges on products that have a price drop or are back in stock, enabling shoppers to receive the best deal and get updates on products featured by LTK Creators.
The badges, which will be displayed across the app, are set to roll out in June 2024
The enhancement enables shoppers to see listed products and requires no additional effort from the creators themselves.
The alerts are powered by LTK’s advanced AI technology, which works across a product catalogue from 8,000 retailers, encompassing 450 million products.
This system automatically, instantly and continuously updates the alerts across the platform.

By GlobalDataThe timing of the launch is strategic, coinciding with the major summer sales period in the US – a significant driver of sales for LTK Creators.
The summer sales, including the back-to-school shopping season, now begin earlier, with a third of the population planning to begin their shopping by June, and almost 70% by July, according to LTK’s recent back-to-school study.
The company expects back-to-school spending to remain robust, as 80% of consumers shopping for children plan to spend the same or more this season.
LTK’s Shopper Alerts are poised to facilitate a seamless shopping experience as an increasing number of consumers rely on creator recommendations for shopping.
Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, LTK is a platform for creators and their businesses by powering and monetising the linkages between content and commerce.
The company operates on five continents and records 40 million monthly consumers.
