UK retailer Co-op has unveiled its inaugural partnership with womenswear fashion company Bonmarché on an in-store value fashion outlet.
Co-op’s newly renovated store in Northgate, Louth, now features a 3,000ft² Bonmarché outlet. The brand will stock clothes in sizes UK 10 to 28.
Bonmarché plans to ramp up its expansion plans to the end of 2025 and bring more stores to UK high streets. The retailer currently operates 200 stores across the UK.
Creating 30 local jobs, the Louth store’s layout has also been upgraded with hot food and bakery sections, alongside a Costa Coffee Express. Parcel collection services are available through InPost Lockers and DPD, and the store offers a soft plastic recycling unit.
Co-op director of format and innovation Mark Matthews commented: “As we invest in transforming our Louth store, we are committed to creating added services that provide a compelling customer offer in the community.”
Bonmarché retail director Amanda Waterfield added: “We hope this opening will lead to more Co-op partnerships in the future.”
