US multinational retailer Walmart has broadened the reach of its InHome delivery service, extending it to an additional ten million households.
The expansion includes the states of Massachusetts, Minnesota, Michigan and California.
The InHome delivery service allows customers to receive groceries and essentials directly to their homes or even unpacked into their kitchen or garage refrigerators.
In Massachusetts, residents of Boston, Cambridge and Newton can now use the InHome delivery service.
The service has also been launched for customers in Minneapolis, St Paul, and Bloomington in Minnesota.
Michigan’s cities of Detroit, Warren and Dearborn are now included, along with San Bernardino, Riverside and Ontario in California.

With this latest development, Walmart’s InHome delivery is now accessible to more than 45 million homes in the US.
Walmart US InHome general manager Haley McShane said: “We understand that customers are busy and want to make sure that they can have a seamless shopping experience that fits their needs.”
First introduced in 2019, the InHome delivery service is available to Walmart+ members for $12.95 per month or $98 per year.
Walmart+ members can add unlimited fee-free and tip-free InHome delivery for an additional $7 per month or $40 per year.
Customers shopping on Walmart.com or through the Walmart app can select items eligible for store delivery and choose the InHome delivery window that best suits their schedule.
In May 2024, Walmart revamped its Neighborhood Market concept with the opening of two new, larger stores in Florida and Georgia.
