Top five retail companies in India’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 5.29% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s retail industry during July 2022 over June 2022.
Amazon posted 448 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a drop of 23.94% over the previous month, followed by Target with 56 jobs and a 69.7% growth. adidas with 39 IT jobs and VorwerkKG with 31 jobs, recorded an 1850% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Specsavers Optical Group recorded a flat growth with 17 job postings during July 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 48.76%, down by 5.1% from June 2022. Entry Level positions with a 37.12% share, registered a decline of 0.39% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 14.12% share, down 19.83% over June 2022.
