Top five retail companies in India’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 14.63% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s retail industry during June 2022 over May 2022.
Target posted 30 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a drop of 14.29% over the previous month, followed by NIKE with 29 jobs and a 123.08% growth. SOTI with 15 IT jobs and Veepee with 10 jobs, recorded a 275% growth and a 42.86% growth, respectively, while Walmart recorded a decline of 56.52% with 10 job postings during June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 58.09%, down by 74.76% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 33.09% share, registered a decline of 56.31% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 8.82% share, down 95.12% over May 2022.
