North America drives IT hiring at Walmart

North America emerged as the leading region in the global retail IT hiring activity in June 2021 with a 98.36% share, which marked a 4.99% growth over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 1.17%, registering a 16.67% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 0.23% share and a flat growth over May 2021.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 0.23% and a month-on-month an flat growth.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s retail industry IT hiring activity with a 97.2% share in June 2021, a 4.79% growth over May 2021. Mexico featured next with a 1.17% share, up 25% over the previous month.India recorded a 1.17% share, decline of 16.67% compared with May 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Walmart IT hiring activity in June 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 63.55%, down by 17.07% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 32.71% share, a growth of 89.19% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Senior job ads with 1.87% share, up 300% over May 2021, while Entry Level postings accounted for 1.87%, recording a month-on-month an increase of 166.67%.
