Retail enterprise software company Mi9 Retail has entered into a cloud collaboration and innovation agreement with Google Cloud to enhance the position of unified retail commerce technology.
The company said that it selected Google Cloud after conducting business and technical evaluation of various cloud technology providers.
As part of the deal, Google Cloud will assist the enterprise retail solutions firm in developing and deploying next-generation of retail software and services.
Customers can now access Mi9 Retail Cloud platform, supported by Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
The company will also leverage AI and machine learning technologies from Google Cloud in order to transform retail-specific tasks, such as visual product search and enhanced AI-driven product recommendations.
Mi9 Retail CEO Neil Moses said: “We surveyed the market to find a partner that could not only support the migration of our current customers to a more efficient and reliable cloud infrastructure but also to accelerate the implementation and rollout of specific capabilities that retailers need to adopt to meet the increasing demands of shoppers.
