Global e-commerce solutions provider Pitney Bowes is expanding its business in Australia to provide e-commerce solutions to retailers, who wish to sell their products overseas.
Using Pitney Bowes’ Borderfree Retail solution, Australian retailers will be able to reach consumers in 220 countries and territories.
A part of the company’s commerce cloud, the Pitney Bowes Borderfree Retail solution offers access to solutions, analytics and APIs across the entire commerce range.
Pitney Bowes global e-commerce executive vice-president and president Lila Snyder said: “Australian retailers on the Borderfree Retail platform will be enabled to offer consumers in other countries a seamless, hyper-local experience.
“Australian brands have always been popular with consumers around the world.
“Now, retailers can expand internationally to take advantage of growth opportunities in global markets, and provide an outstanding customer experience.”

According to Forrester Research, global cross-border online B2C sales are expected to reach $424bn by 2021.
Cross-border shoppers in the Asia-Pacific region are also estimated to increase in double digits over the next five years.
