Australian chain Coles Supermarkets has partnered with online market place eBay to accelerate online grocery shopping across Australia.
The partnership will allow eBay users to shop a range of perishable and non-perishable essentials such as pre-packed fresh food, pantry, personal care and household items from Coles Supermarkets through ebay.com.au.

By GlobalDataColes now joins 40,000 Australian retailers including Myer, The Good Guys and Target, who are currently trading on eBay.
The partnership also allows Coles to access 11 million monthly visitors via the online platform.
eBay Australia and New Zealand managing director Tim MacKinnon said: “Coles is one of Australia’s oldest and most trusted brands, so we’re excited to welcome them to eBay as they broaden their online channels.
“Both eBay and Coles share the vision of providing convenience, range and value to our customers and together we can make it even easier for Aussies to meet all their shopping needs in one place.”
Customers in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane can access Coles on eBay, with products offered at the same national in-store prices.
The company is also offering free delivery on orders of $49 and above, to customers with an eBay Plus membership and one simple unattended eBay delivery option, under which it will deliver products even if no one is home.
Coles online CEO Alister Jordan said: “We are always looking for ways to make life easier for our customers. By partnering with eBay, we are providing our customers another convenient way to access our products and have them delivered straight to their door.”
