Visual search technology company Corrigon is set to be acquired by eBay with the two companies having signed a simultaneous agreement.

eBay is expected to benefit from Corrigon’s expertise in image processing and computer vision that will help the former’s buyers purchase items confidently and sellers to list their products more efficiently.

Bass Pro Shops has reached an agreement to acquire outdoor gear retailer Cabela’s for $5.5 billion in cash. The purchase consideration represents a price of $65.5 a share of Cabela’s.

The target company’s speciality retail stores and business operations will be merged with the acquirer and its business White River Marine Group.

Bass Pro Shops will also enter a multi-year partnership agreement with Capital One, National Association to service Cabela’s co-branded credit card named Cabela’s CLUB, following the completion of the acquisition.
