The remodelled stores located in Houston and Balch Springs opened on 7 December, and the Waxahachie store will open on 14 December.

Fiesta Mart has also acquired three grocery stores located in the Houston area, and intends to remodel and re-open these stores in the near future.

"We believe that these new acquisitions are a fantastic fit for the Fiesta brand."

"We can't wait to provide a new, improved shopping experience within these stores."

The re-openings will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, fun activities and giveaways to the first 200 customers.

Byars added: "Fiesta is continually looking for opportunities to serve new areas.

"We believe that these new acquisitions are a fantastic fit for the Fiesta brand, and we look forward to unveiling the new Fiesta experience in these stores in early 2017."
