Family-operated discount retailer Giant Tiger is expanding its reach and convenience offering by partnering DoorDash and Uber Eats in Canada.

The partners will provide rapid home delivery services that can deliver Giant Tiger’s products within one hour.

The service is now accessible at more than 200 Giant Tiger locations throughout Canada, enabling customers to purchase a comprehensive range of products such as groceries, health and beauty items, household goods and apparel.

The move is part of Giant Tiger’s adaptation to market trends and consumer preferences for speedier and more convenient shopping experiences. It also aligns with its commitment to providing Canadians with consistent value.

Giant Tiger strategy and supply chain senior vice-president and chief digital officer Simon Rodrigue stated: “Canadians are looking for easier, more convenient ways to shop, and we’re thrilled to expand our digital offerings to meet that need with new partnerships with DoorDash and Uber Eats.

Customers can access the service via the DoorDash or Uber Eats apps.

Giant Tiger now serves the provinces of Alberta, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec and Saskatchewan.
