Fashion and lifestyle company Apparel Group India is to collaborate with online food and delivery company Swiggy Instamart to launch the rapid delivery of Crocs footwear in India.
The service, which promises a delivery time of 10 minutes, is currently operational in the cities of Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai.
This is Crocs’ debut on a quick commerce platform, granting consumers immediate access to popular designs such as the Classic Clog and Classic Sandal.
The initiative is set to broaden the service to additional cities during spring 2025.
Swiggy Instamart CEO Amitesh Jha was quoted by media sources: “At Swiggy Instamart, we’re constantly seeking new ways to bring customers the products they love, faster than ever, across all categories. We’re excited to introduce a globally recognised brand like Crocs to quick commerce, further strengthening Swiggy Instamart’s focus on fashion and lifestyle offerings. With Holi and the summer break just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to provide customers with a seamless shopping experience for all their footwear needs.”
Crocs ROW (rest-of-the-world) senior vice-president and general manager Adrian Holloway added: “At Crocs, we are always exploring innovative ways to engage with our consumers and enhance accessibility to our iconic footwear.”
The partnership with Swiggy Instamart comes almost a year after Apparel Group expanded its collaboration with Crocs in 2024, becoming the exclusive retail licensee for the brand’s iconic footwear in north and east India. Crocs delivered a solid performance in the fiscal year 2024, (FY24) with consolidated revenues increasing 3.5% to $4.10bn, up from $3.96bn in FY23.
