Fashion resale marketplace Poshmark has unveiled a new feature, Smart List AI, as part of ongoing efforts to integrate AI into its services, transforming the second-hand shopping experience. 

Smart List AI functions as an intelligent assistant for sellers, enabling them to generate comprehensive listing details from a single photo upload. It is aimed at optimising the listing process through generative AI.

The feature guides users through each phase of the process, automating essential components such as titles, descriptions and categories.  

This automation has led to an average 48% reduction in listing time.

The new tool not only simplifies the listing experience but also enhances the quality of listings, improving searchability and instilling greater confidence among potential buyers.  

Sellers can access Smart List AI via the Sell tab on the Poshmark app, where they can either take or upload an image of their item.

Scheduled for release in February 2025, Smart List AI will be available to all mobile app users on iOS across the US and Canada.
